Universal Contracting served as the General Contractor for The Banks Phase 3B (BP5), an $8.9 million expansion located at 98 W. Mehring Way in Cincinnati. In partnership with Hamilton County, Messer Construction, and THP Limited, the project expanded the existing parking garage while creating a dynamic outdoor event space along the Cincinnati riverfront. Designed to enhance both functionality and the public experience, the project added structured parking, upgraded infrastructure, and a flexible outdoor music venue featuring specialty hardscapes, landscaping, and gathering areas. Our scope included:

Completed in May 2021, the project expanded parking capacity while creating an inviting public venue that supports concerts, festivals, and community events at The Banks, further enhancing one of Cincinnati’s premier riverfront destinations.
