Universal Contracting completed a complex addition at St. Mary that transformed an existing courtyard into a functional space connecting the school and church. The project seamlessly tied the new structure into both existing buildings, creating improved circulation and expanding the campus for students, staff, and parishioners. The work also included a new sunken outdoor gathering area with a reconstructed grotto and an elevator and stair tower addition on the east side of the church. Constructed of architectural concrete with cantilevered concrete stairs and roof structure, these features required careful planning and precise execution. Our scope included:
