Universal Contracting completed The Banks Lot 28, a 15,000 SF parking garage supporting a 33,000 SF public park that is home to the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame. Completed in July 2023, the project created a landmark destination celebrating Cincinnati’s rich musical heritage through immersive public art and interactive experiences. Visitors experience interactive kiosks, large-format video displays, dance stations, fountain features, and more than 100,000 SF of polished and antiqued black granite integrated throughout the site, creating a one-of-a-kind civic space along the riverfront. Our scope included:
