Description:

The renovation and expansion of the Duke Energy Brecon 1 Building modernizes the facility and significantly improves its operational functionality. Universal completes both a 5,200 SF addition and a 6,800 SF renovation, transforming the existing building through extensive demolition, upgraded systems, and newly designed workspaces. Key components of the project include:

  • Complete interior demolition of the existing building
  • 5,200 SF building addition and 6,800 SF renovation
  • New plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, security systems, and ALC controls throughout
  • New restroom and full renovation of two existing restrooms
  • New masonry, metal wall panels, and windows at the addition
  • New windows added to the existing building
  • New rooftop unit (RTU)
  • New offices, training rooms, and locker rooms
  • New eating area with new appliances and casework
  • New polished concrete, ceramic tile, carpet, and LVT flooring
