Description:
A $1.7 million renovation of the main entrance and lobby was undertaken to significantly enhance facility security and improve the flow of visitors and staff. Universal delivered several key upgrades as part of this project, including:
- Addition of a new metal canopy structure with enclosed vestibule
- Refinishing of 2,000 SF of existing terrazzo flooring
- Installation of a decorative glass security wall
- Installation of two Aeroturn Access security control speed gates
- A new solid-surface security desk, decorative feature wall, and display cases
Universal successfully completed the renovation on an accelerated 12-week schedule to meet critical COVID vaccine production timelines, demonstrating the team’s ability to execute high-quality work under demanding conditions.
