Universal Contracting Corp. served as the General Contractor for the construction of a comprehensive facility
addition that included a new auditorium, gymnasium, and classroom spaces. The project incorporated dura-ble materials, functional design, and extensive site improvements to enhance both the facility and surrounding area.
The overall scope of work included robust masonry construction with brick veneer, aluminum entrances, a sin-gle-ply roofing system, and supporting site improvements.
Auditorium
The state-of-the-art auditorium was constructed to provide an exceptional experience for performers and audi-ences and included:
- Fixed seating designed for comfort and optimal sightlines
- Acoustical clouds and wall panels for enhanced sound quality
- Interior trim and wood stage flooring
- Fully equipped stage with integrated lighting and sound systems Gymnasium
The gymnasium was designed to accommodate a wide range of athletic activities and included:
- High-performance wood flooring
- Gym equipment and spectator bleachers
- Tectum roof deck for acoustic control and structural performance
- Integrated sound system for clear, consistent audio Classroom Addition
The classroom addition was designed to support a modern learning environment and included:
- Painted masonry walls
- Acoustical ceiling systems
- VCT flooring suitable for high-traffic use
- Precast floor panels for long-term structural durability
- Interior and laboratory casework tailored to educational and lab environments
