Universal Contracting was proud to complete the renovation of the Hirsch Recreation Center for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and the surrounding community. The project consisted of a comprehensive renovation of the existing recreation center, along with multiple additions and facility upgrades to improve accessibility, functionality, and overall user experience.
The project scope included:
Renovation of restrooms, ceilings, flooring, and refurbishment of the gym floor
Addition of a multi-purpose room, fitness room, lobby, parking lot, egress stairs, accessible entrance, and elevator
Renovations and repairs to the exterior pool
New entrance providing access to adjacent ball fields
Upgraded fire suppression system
Addition of an exterior drinking fountain
Upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
The project was completed in September 2019 and reflects Universal’s commitment to delivering high-quality community-focused facilities that serve residents of all ages.
